Elite Screens Aeon CLR 3
This is the clearest like-for-like premium fixed-frame comparison. Elite lists 0.8 gain, 170° viewing, 90% overhead-light rejection and 103/123-inch sizes for the current CLR 3 series. It makes sense to compare if you want a broadly similar fixed-wall UST concept but prefer Elite’s sizing or higher published gain.
Formovie Fresnel 100-inch
Formovie’s screen changes the optical strategy. It lists 1.0 peak gain and a 50° viewing angle. That can suit a room where central seating and a narrower viewing cone are acceptable in exchange for Fresnel behavior.
VIVIDSTORM S PRO
Choose this comparison when the wall itself is the problem. The S PRO is a motorized floor-rising unit with 0.6 gain, 170° viewing, sizes from 72 to 130 inches and app/voice/trigger controls. It is less about optical one-upmanship and more about disappearing when not in use.
Spectra Projection Vantage UST
Spectra’s Vantage uses a 0.5-gain lenticular saw-tooth structure. A widely cited 100-inch configuration is positioned as a premium UST ALR reference surface. Compare it when low gain and strong overhead-light rejection are priorities.
AWOL Vision Cinematic ALR
AWOL’s current official Cinematic ALR page lists 95% overhead rejection, 170° viewing and 120–150-inch fixed-frame sizes. It is more directly relevant if you are moving beyond 100 inches.
